Are you passionate about powersports and have a knack for diagnosing and repairing all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), utility task vehicles (UTVs), and personal watercrafts (PWCs)? Responsibilities:

Diagnose and Repair: Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on a variety of powersports vehicles, including ATVs, UTVs, and PWCs. Brands carried are Polaris, Can-Am, Yamah Waverunner, Sea-Doo, and Excel Boats.

Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and scheduled services to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of powersports vehicles.

Customer Service: Occasionally Interact with customers to understand and address their concerns, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Documentation: Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance procedures, and parts used. Provide detailed information to service advisors and maintain efficient communication channels. Complete detailed and informative multi-point inspection forms.

Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest powersports technology, industry trends, and manufacturer specifications. Attend training sessions to enhance technical skills.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other technicians, service advisors, and parts department to ensure seamless operations and customer service.

Qualifications:

Experience: History as a powersports or automotive technician, with expertise in diagnosing and repairing ATVs, UTVs, and PWCs bein a plus.

Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications from recognized powersports manufacturers is a plus.

Technical Skills: Proficient in using diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and troubleshooting techniques. Strong understanding of powersports/automotive systems and components.

Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.

Tools: Technicians will supply their own tools, however we do supply snap-on tool storage and the required special tools will be provided.

Gene's Powersports, a leading powersports dealership specializing in ATVs, UTVs, PWCs, and boats, is seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Assembly Technician/Accessory Installer to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for powersports and possess technical expertise in vehicle assembly and accessory installation, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Vehicle Assembly: Assemble and prepare a variety of powersports vehicles, including ATVs, UTVs, PWCs, and boats, according to manufacturer specifications and guidelines.

Accessory Installation: Install aftermarket accessories and upgrades on powersports vehicles, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to customer specifications.

Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure that all assembled vehicles and installed accessories meet our high standards for safety, functionality, and aesthetics.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly and installation activities, including parts used, time spent, and any issues encountered. Provide detailed documentation for warranty and service purposes.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including sales, service, and parts departments, to ensure seamless communication and cooperation throughout the vehicle assembly and accessory installation process.

Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact with customers to discuss accessory options, provide information on installation procedures, and address any questions or concerns.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Assembly Technician or similar role is a plus.

Technical knowledge of powersports vehicles, including ATVs, UTVs, PWCs, and boats is a plus.

Strong mechanical and electrical skills.

Familiarity with aftermarket accessories and upgrades.

Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and technical manuals.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.

Team player with a positive attitude.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
